TKFCare

TKFCare, an outreach arm of TKFC supports the care of Orphans and widows particularly in less privileged areas of the world.
We are a child-centred non- governmental relief and development organisation that is committed to ensuring the complete well-being of displaced children that they may attain a life that is whole and declared through years of posterity.
At the heart of our work is a strong resolve to transform the lives of displaced and vulnerable children and to support the communities in which they live. In line with our Christian faith we have compassion for those the world ignores. Our lifelong commitment is therefore to work to alleviate spiritual and material poverty and support communities in some of the poorest parts of the world, directly and indirectly.
One of our main goals is to serve and work alongside local communities to enable vulnerable and displaced children to live an abundant, self-sufficient life that is free from social, physical, economical and spiritual inequity or injustice. Core to our Christian values is the belief that aid must be given regardless of race, religion, nationality or gender.
Our Values
Christ
We are followers of Christ Jesus; we love him, are guided by him and depend on him for everything. We believe that the vulnerable are on God’s heart therefore they should be on ours. Concern for those in fundamental need and emphasis on just and fair behaviour is a strong theme throughout the bible. As Christians it is our desire to imitate Christ and to allow him to lead us into the company of those who are in need.
We are guided by Matthew 25:36-46 and James 1:27.
Matthew 25:35-46
For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me [with help and ministering care]; I was in prison, and you came to Me [ignoring personal danger].’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’
“Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Leave Me, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels (demons); for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me [with help and ministering care].’ Then they also [in their turn] will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will reply to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these [my followers], you did not do it for Me.’ Then these [unbelieving people] will go away into eternal (unending) punishment, but those who are righteous and in right standing with God [will go, by His remarkable grace] into eternal (unending) life.”
James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
COMPASSION
We are passionate for those in the forgotten corners world. The bible says that Jesus came that we would have life and have it more abundantly, John 10:10, and we strongly believe that geography or other uncontrollable circumstances shouldn’t disqualify nor disallow people, access to the abundant life that those in other parts of the world freely have. We are committed to delivering quality care via our local networks in order to see lives permanently transformed.
accountability
Through our uniquely placed local teams we aim to be transparent in every relationship, in stewardship and in all interactions pertaining to TKFCare. We demand a high standard of professional competence of ourselves and embrace the need to be accountable.
SERVANTHOOD
Jesus came not to be served but to serve. We imitate him. We believe in community participation and listen to those we seek to serve and empower. We are merely stewards of the resources at our disposal; they are a sacred trust from God, which must be appropriate accordingly towards those most in need. We are stewards of God’s creation.
There are three pillars to our work:
Alleviating spiritual and material poverty
Strategically fostering social transformation through advocacy
Tactically serving those in need through community enhancing projects

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
James 1:27
TKFCare Ministry mandate has commenced from our local environment in Thurrock with projects that ensure less privileged children and their families who are experiencing crisis, are not without food. To this end we currently support the Thurrock Food Bank with supplies of non-perishable food items and monthly financial support.
We are also looking into a grant service to support those who have been displaced by homelessness, divorce etc. We are looking to work with local partners like Thurrock Council and the Citizens Advice Bureau to identify those who fall into this category through referrals and provide assistance as budget permits.
Internationally, our focus is on the continent of Africa with a current population of over 1.2 billion souls(2016), much of which are under 20 years old . Africa is currently experiencing issues with HIV/AIDS and poverty which threatening the future of the next generation currently creating many orphans.
The continent is projected to grow in population to 2 billion over the next couple of decades. This poses challenges for which God is sending this ministry to address in our little way , by facilitating the building of the next generation of leaders for the continent, one child at a time.
Displaced children, if given the opportunity will in God, succeed and carry the baton to be part of the solution for the future generation. This is not a social answer but a Godly one, for any soul who is displaced becomes a ground for Satan, however, when hope is brought in Christ, these children become part of His army for the end time move of God. In the short to medium term, TKFCare is operative in Nigeria and South Africa, being the two economic and population hubs of the continent. These two locations also serve as unique test cases for the pulse of the continent. From these centres, other locations will be reached and ministered to.
TKFCare, in fulfilling this mandate is partnering with other Godly organisations that carry the mandate of Christ and are providing social solutions, being mindful of the end time move of God. Our current partners are House of God’s Grace in Agbowa, Ikorodu in Lagos, Nigeria and in South Africa, House of Wells is our partner organisation , covering operations in Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. In Zimbabwe, there are operations in Harare and Kwekwe.
